The most recent unveiling of STR 48’s poster discloses the dual role Silambarsan will portray in the film, showcasing the actor in an intense demeanor. The film is under the direction of Desingh Periyasamy.
On the occasion of Silambarsan’s birthday today, Raaj Kamal Films International, Kamal Hassan’s production house, released the initial look of Simbu from the highly anticipated film STR 48.
Hassan shared the poster on his social media handle, extending birthday wishes to Simbu. In response, Simbu expressed his sincere appreciation, stating, “Heartfelt gratitude for the wishes and blessings sir! Thank you for trusting me always.”
The latest poster for STR 48 reveals Silambarsan’s dual role in the movie, portraying the actor in a fierce demeanor. Desingh Periyasamy will be at the helm of the directorial duties.
Raaj Kamal Films International also shared the poster on their social media handle, captioning, “Unleash the valour and witness this remarkable journey from #STR48. Wishing @SilambarasanTR_ a happy birthday.”
Regarding STR 48, an insider previously informed Pinkvilla, “It’s an out and out action film in the period set up, and director Desingh Periyasamy plans to mount it as the biggest STR film to date. The estimated budget of the film will be around Rs 100 crore, thereby emerging as the costliest film of STR’s career. It features STR in a dual role, and both the characters have their own distinct identity.”
With the tagline “Blood and Battle,” STR 48 marks the initial collaboration between Silambarasan and Desingh. Simbu was last featured in director Obeli N Krishna’s “Pathu Thala.”
